Hi, I'm Amy.
This is my story.

A few years ago, I became fascinated by mindfulness and the mind-body connection. I became deeply invested in personal growth, and my world transformed as a result ofĀ fostering feelings of safety and peace through nervous system regulation.

Then at 36, I was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. Through chemo, a bilateral mastectomy, radiation, and reconstruction, these mental resilience tools became my anchor. Now, I’m continuing to explore this work more deeply by pursuing a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction facilitator credential through Brown University.

Calm Through Cancer was born from these experiences, and from the belief that while we can’t control everything, we can shape how we move through hard seasons.
